Survey services

At present the attention to security of transportation and cargo safety is very high. This corresponds to cargo owners and other participants of transportation process, including insurers, interests. The increased importance of insurance activity brought survey and export services on the level of great demand. We have certified and experienced experts that can make legal expert conclusions and save your time and money. In theory survey services mean estimation of cargo quality, its physical, chemical and biological conditions. Cargo expertise is confirmed by tests of certified laboratories.

Kamchatka Maritime Company Co., Ltd implements survey services (survey inspection) of cargo and vessels. This is an independent inspection (as the third party) of cargo condition, recalculation of cargo, certification of transportation equipment. As the result Survey Reports (expertise reports) that are necessary for dispute matters solving are issued.
Types of survey services:

1. Survey inspection (examination) of vessels:

  • Estimation of vessel condition (vessels’ inspection) at opening a charter and when finishing it;
  • Total examination of vessel’s technical conditions (total examination);
  • Determination of cargo quantity (cargo weight) be vessel’s draft  (cargo quantity control);
  • Determination of fuel/liquid bulk cargo quantity on board of vessel (cargo quantity control, fuel quantity control);
  • Survey inspection of vessel’s hulls and gears;
  • Survey inspection (vessel’s inspection) for insurance police registration;
  • Sealing of and unsealing of holds.

2. Survey inspection (examination) of cargoes:
